The most wonderful and cultural experience.We are offering a new culinary tour where our
guests learn about the culture, way of living , gastronomy and cooking techniques used in authentic Mayan villages .In this experience, guests learn to cook some of the most traditional dishes.We will also take you to a nearby cenote and so this tour has the perfect combination.

The traditional mayan cooks, called respectfully “Cocineras tradicionales”, share with us one of the most important seasoning used all around Yucatan and Quintana Roo for preparing traditional dishes:
White, black and red recaudo, this last used with axiote in traditional metate for preparing cochinita pibil  and also learn how to prepare their own tortillas by hand.

It is a perfect chance to experience their cooking techniques and recipes that had been used for centuries in their local communities located approximately two hours away from Playa del Carmen
Guests are transported in comfortable Vans and upon arrival, they are welcomed with a typical drink from the region (Chaya water served in “JICARAS”) .

We will have also a cenote experience while the food is preparing, we will visit a cenote where we can bathe and contemplate the beauty of this place, as well zip line and rappel included.
